Not too long ago we asked you a question. “Would you be interested in a wine tasting and PYO Flowers event?” And you answered with a resounding yes. So. It is our pleasure to offer you an evening we’re calling Sip and Snip. We are delighted to confirm that our friends up the road from us at Simpsons Vineyard have agreed to team up with us to offer you this fantastic opportunity to sample local English wines. Simpsons are based in Barham, a few miles from our farm and produce world class estate-grown wine practically on our doorstep so it seemed only right to set up an evening where you can enjoy the abundance our location can provide.

Our fascination with pairing wine with flowers is rooted in their symbolic meanings. Wines often tell the tale of the land they come from, while flowers carry sentiments of love, hope, and celebration, so it seemed only fitting to come together and let you taste the fruits of this land alongside the flowers that it produces.

We shall be hosting the event in the field where you’ll be guided through the different still and sparkling wines by Simpsons’ experienced sommelier with a backdrop of beautiful blooms. You’ll be provided with a bucket and snips for your flowers and we will wrap them in paper for you to take home at the end of the evening.
