About Us

Gingerly Green Flower Farm was born out of an early love for flowers.  The first job that I ever had was working after school and Saturdays in a florists from a young age in Folkestone as my parents didn’t fancy giving me any extra pocket money! 

Fast forward by *ahem* some years and an interesting career as an event manager, my love of flowers hasn’t gone anywhere and I am delighted to be able to share this passion. I firmly believe that flowers bring joy and happiness and that everyone should be able to take advantage of this which is why, with the support of my family, we started Gingerly Green Flower Farm. We offer workshops where we can teach you how to create your own arrangements as well as different affordable options for weddings from DIY flowers or individual pieces, to full event packages.

Our aim is to grow sustainably and sympathetically, no nasties, no single use plastics, no peat, no nonsense!  All the flowers that we grow are things that I love myself, for their scent, vase life, and beauty.  Our flowers and foliage are all grown on site at our farm, adhering to the ‘grown, not flown’ ethos. Our PYO flower weekends are designed for you to be able to come down and get exactly what you want and to suit your own tastes whilst enjoying your time on the farm.
